I recently had microblading brows done at Lesage Cosmetic Tattoo in Kettle Valley (Kelowna). I felt comfortable going there in the first place because Susan Lesage was recommended to me personally by another professional in the makeup/skincare industry.
When I first arrived at her studio, Susan made me feel absolutely welcome and comfortable, and the space is beautiful, bright, open and spotless. Everything from the artwork on the walls, beautiful lighting to the comfy faux fur throws makes it a physically welcoming place. Susan’s warmth and gentle mannerisms had me comfortable immediately. I cannot say enough about the time and care she takes in discussing concerns and wishes with the client, in mapping out shapes for your brows and absolutely being open to adjustments until the client is 100% happy!
Choosing the colour is discussed carefully, and NONE of the decisions you make ever feel rushed. You are her sole concern for your entire three-hour initial appointment. The same goes for the follow up. There is no one “waiting in line” behind you. You will get completely individual eyebrows tailored to your facial features and proportions, and ultimately your wishes. Susan’s personal passion for this creative process is evident in the time and care she takes with you.
My husband’s comments were “I cannot believe those are not actual hairs. The colour is perfect, the shape is flattering and no one would ever guess they are not your own.” Another friend “the shape and the colour are spot-on.”
One more thing I cannot help mentioning is that Susan is not only a perfectionist when it comes to actually doing the work, but she is also genuinely interested in you as a person. One of the kindest people I have ever met! Some health things I just happened to mention during treatment led her to share a book with me that has changed my life! For good. She reminds me of my BF and I’ve only known her for two appointments! I wish I could go back for something every month!
I highly recommend that no matter where you live in the Okanagan…it is worth the drive!!!
